EARSHOT GRAFFITI takes pride in our ability to provide
a complete musical package for any upcoming wedding. In
addition to choosing songs that fit the event, including
songs sweeping the age range, we pride ourselves
in our ability to read the mood of the crowd and ramp up
the excitement and pulse, or maintain a smooth
and easy listening style. We will cater to whatever the
bridal party requests and offer professional conduct, dress
and service. We will work with the bride to choose
those special songs tailored specifically to the
mood and style to be presented at the wedding. Playing
specially requested songs is our specialty. In our
experience, the bride will pick 2 or 3 songs as
special requests. Usually, around the end of the first
set, which is about 45 minutes into our playing,
we will play the "wedding song." This is where the
bride and groom dance their first dance together as a
married couple. We have also played this
"wedding song" as the first song of the night, but
it is of course optional as to where the bride wants it
played. Then immediately following that, we usually
play the "father of the bride song" where the bride
and her father dance, and then the “mother of the groom
song” where the groom dances with his mother.
At a few weddings we are requested to play a "money
song" where the bride will dance for short periods at a
time with her male guests, who in turn pin money to
the bridal veil as personal sendoff gifts to the
bride. As with all of the above, this is optional.
We usually ask for about 30 days notice on the
songs that you request, so that we can properly
learn all of the songs parts, should we not know them
already.
