Rufus, the newest member of Earshot, is also

one of its original members. He and Jerry

decided to put together a classic rock band back

in 1989 and Earshot Graffiti was born. The

three have logged many an hour on stage

ogether, and it shows. A good old Cajun boy

from South Louisiana, it took a lot of bravery

for Rufus’ Mom to give him a drum kit back in

1965, but that is where it started. Since then

he has played everything from 50’s doo-wop

to classic R & B / rock to Cajun to country to

blues. He is known for his soulful vocals and

high harmonies and brings to the table 40

years of drumming experience.
