Jerry began playing the six string guitar at
the age of ten. Almost immediately he
“re-tooled” it to become a Bass Guitar. It was
a rare occurrence for him to not be in a band.
Taking all of the music courses available in the
public schools (where he played clarinet,
saxophone, violin, and the upright bass) he took
what he learnedand applied it to the Bass Guitar.
As the child of an Air Force Sargent he played in
the Philippines, Germany, and in and around
Washington, D.C. Since arriving in the Shreveport
Bossier area there have been many bands.
Undoubtedly, the power “horn band” “Earshot
Graffiti”was the band that achieved the most
notoriety.
